Labour Council Leader told to 'not pick and choose' which flag he flies from our Town Hall

Our Deputy Chairman, Ben Suter, has written to Barking & Dagenham Council Leader, Darren Rodwell, to ensure that next year the Falkland Islands flag is flown from the Town Hall on Falklands Day. 

I have written to Darren Rodwell to ask him to raise the flag of the Falkland Islands on Falklands Day every year going forward.

This year was a missed opportunity to show how as a community we support the Falkland Islands and their place in this United Kingdom.
