I was delighted to host the Minister of State for Crime and Policing, Kit Malthouse MP, for a virtual meeting with local residents. Having worked closely with Kit over a number of years to tackle crime and the harmful effect it has on the younger members of our society, it was a great honour for me that he took the opportunity to endorse me as the candidate for the Havering and Redbridge GLA seat in 2021.
During Boris's tenure as London Mayor, Kit was the Deputy Mayor for Policing for four years overseeing approx 20% reduction in crime. It saddens me that this reduction has not continued under Khan. Listen to Kit's video and find out how Boris and Kit reduced crime across London.
