Speaking to an audience in New York, Sadiq Khan optimistically told the crowd that he will meet his 2030 targets, but when our Assembly Members asked his officials the same question at the Environment Committee, they didn’t seem to agree. Asked on a scale of 1 to 10 how likely the Mayor was to meet the 2030 goal, officials gave a hopeful “2-3” out of 10 probability of doing so. Awkward.
